As Promised....

I do love going through a stack of photos and coming across the unexpected ones that I haven't seen in years. It makes me smile, makes me laugh, and most of all remember the joy & blessings of my life!

A few more photos I found :)

Our 1st Birthday!!!

Showing off our dolls!

I love this one with Marco!!!

Craig & I at my Senior Prom in 1992!!
Gotta love those claws :)~

Latest Addition to the 100% Album

Ahoy, Mateys~~

This picture never fails to make me smile.

It was taken in Destin after Amanda & Cory's Wedding rehearsal dinner. Both kids were so tired from the long drive down and then the rehearsal that they simply wanted to go back to the room and sleep--Until they noticed the pirate gear in the restaurants gift shop.

Outfitted with their scabbards, eye-patches, and headgear they were ready for battle!! We actually had to convince them both that eye-patches were not required accessories at the beach wedding the next day!

Blast from the Past

While going through some old photos over the weekend I came across these and just had to share!

The first one is Craig & I our 1st year of dating--1989!!
(one of the few without me and my crooked glasses*sigh*)

We were at Disney with the youth group. Needless to say I had some chuckles thinking about all the crazy things that happened on the trip.
--almost hitting a bicyclist in Daytona in the church van(that woulda been some great news fodder!)
--Bobby Gillian getting in trouble by a security guard at MGM for climbing over the railing--him of all pp!
--me crying because I lost my favorite purse!(I still miss that thing!)

----------------------

Here are a few of myself, Shalena, Leah, and Kevin while they were here visiting one summer.
--Darn I miss those Southern Cycle shirts! But not the *is that fleece??* outfits!

More to come......

A Girl and her Flour

So if you know me, then you know I am not inclined to cook.
However--by some grace of God--Emma has been gifted with the love of the kitchen, so I have been attempting to try my hand at it more for her sake.

I was in the mood for Chicken-Pot-Pie the other evening and so I googled a recipe with the word "Easy" in the title.
Emma & I proceeded to make the recipe and wouldn't you know it--as soon as she figured out there was dough involved--she was All over it! (I think her true calling is a baker!!)
Here is a few photos I snapped that will one day hang on her Bakery wall. :)
(I have photos of her in flour at Age 2 or so that I will try to find soon--this isn't a new thing!!)

Fun with Abram

If you know me then you know I am rarely without my camera(much to the kids dismay) and that always results in lots of photos.
Now(to the delight of the kids) I have a new subject in our Nephew Abram LOL
He is so funny--he keeps us all laughing when we are together!
His fave thing to say is "oTay!" which keeps reminding of when Eli was in his "Oh Sure" stage at that age..I love it! Here he is creeping up on Eli this past Sunday.

What I am working on in my "free" time..

So in my "free" time I have a little obsession with a thing called Scrapbooking. :)

The past 6 months I slacked off--well if I am being honest I stopped altogether for some reason I have yet to figure out. About a month ago I started trying to scrap a few evenings a week even if it for an hour or so. I love scrapping--this is one outlet that I love!!

I am presently working on a mini-album of the kids. I am tickled with it and wanted to share what I have finished up so far.

And then last night I figured out I needed a little notebook to carry in my purse so that I can jot down scrappy ideas & this is what I made.

What a weekend!!

Well we did it...we took the leap and went to Mart! WOW what an experience.
Going to Mart as an exhibitor is a whole world away from going as a buyer! We learned a lot of different things regarding booth set-up, promos, etc and we made some fabulous friends that I can't wait to see in January!!

Here is a shot of our Booth!

Cake on the brain..

Well it seems I have had cake on the brain today. I guess this "diet" it getting to me more than I thought when I actually smell Birthday Cake even though there is none to be found within 10 miles LOL

So to help me get past this without attempting to walk to the nearest bakery(12miles) I have been getting my daily laugh from CakeWrecks. It you have not checked out this site(which means you are not one of my many email contacts as they all received the link about an hour ago) you need to go by and check it out. It is by far one of the best blogs I have come across! I went so far as to add it to my google reader so I get the daily update :):)
